NYC Spots to Go for First-Time Visitors

Hellooo, 1508p

So, I will show you the places worth going to as someone who lived there for a year. 2108p

  1. Statue of Liberty- I recommend booking ticket to the base of the statue.
  2. Chelsea – It’s a very nature-filled area that has the famous Chelsea Market, the Little Island, a cool spot that I personally really like – the High Line, the river side walking path, and the Vessel. It’s easy to get relaxed and escape for a while in the artsy and nature-integrated atmosphere!
  3. Financial District- especially during December. The Christmas tree on Wall Street makes the festive spirit even higher. The old, established, and calmness of the area will offer a piece of sanctuary along with the observatory deck near the Oculus. The seats and view from the Brookfield place(especially the second floor) are my go-to resting place in the area. 2147p
  4. The East Village and Washington Square are places I would visit if there’s enough time. There are artsy, traditional brownstone townhouses for students and people who like to immerse in the busy lives of NY but still appreciate the history of old NY. It has a famous bookstore and is walkable to Union Square- a very convenient place.
  5. I love Times Square and the Rockefeller Center area. It’s got the hustling and bustling of NY. K-town, The New York Public Library, Soho+ Chinatown+ Little Italy(they’re super near each other), and The Metropolitan Museum of Art are other places I would recommend if there’s enough time. 2203p
